DUBOIS – As costs continue to rise, a local nonprofit is stepping up to help families in need.
“We Care for Kids” provides clothing, shoes, and other essentials to students throughout the DuBois Area School District, Jeff Tech, and beyond.
Founder Susan Hassan says while their impact continues to grow, so does the need.
“We never tell a child, ‘we don’t have that,’” explained Hassan. “If we don’t have it, we go and get it.”
Founded in 2018, this organization now helps thousands of students each year through your donations and volunteer work.
Donations of clothing or monetary support can be dropped off at local schools or Love to Sew for You in DuBois.
