DUBOIS — The City of DuBois has been recognized with a Governor’s Award for Local Government Excellence for its response to adversity.
The honor highlights the community’s successful consolidation and how the two municipalities worked through challenges to come together.
The award was presented by the Department of Community and Economic Development during the 30th annual Governor’s Awards for Local Government Excellence.
DuBois was one of 19 communities recognized this year.
