DUBOIS – You could soon see new public restrooms at the DuBois City Park.
City leaders say they are applying for a state DCNR grant to replace the old bathrooms at the back of the park with modern, pre-cast concrete units.
These would be delivered and installed on site and will not require plumbing allowing them to be open year-round.
This project is designed to better serve the pavilions and park visitors.
The grant would be a 50-50 match with applications due by the end of April. If approved, construction would likely begin next year.
