DUBOIS – The DuBois Area School District has filled a vacant seat on its school board.
Samantha Brillion was voted in 6-1 to represent Region B, which includes Huston Township, West Sandy, Treasure Lake, and Sabula, in what she describes as a chance to do the right thing for students.
““I have two students in the district, two children, and being able to be involved and help make things happen for the district and for the students is really important to me,” explained Brillion. “And I’m really excited to be here “
This follows the resignation of Brian Leech during their March 26th meeting. Brillion will now serve out the remainder of the term.
