Emery Ai Kline, age 95. of DuBois, PA., passed away on Saturday, April 4, 2026, at Christ the King Manor.
Born on September 7, 1930, in Woodward Township, he was the son of the late Ai and Ruth (Barnett) Kline.
On September 19, 1953, in Houtzdale, PA. he married Theo O. (Yarger) Kline, she preceded him in death on December 23, 2003.
Emery graduated from Houtzdale Woodward High School, attended Mt. Zion United Methodist Church, a member of the Garfield Lodge #559, was a Shriner and Shrine Road Runner. He retired as a meat cutter from Acme Markets and Bi Lo Foods.
Emery is survived by his daughter Amy Shelenberger of Mill Hall, PA and two grandchildren; Christeena Clyde and Joseph (Rhonda) Clyde. A brother Ashley Kline of Philipsburg, PA. and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to Emery’s parents and wife, he was preceded by his siblings; Ernest, Emerson, Norman, Thomas, Clifford Kline, Hilda Shivley and Ida Belle Kirkwood.
A Remembrance Service is being planned for a future date.
Interment will take place in Lakelawn Memorial Park, Reynoldsville.
