DuBois Man Accused of Stealing from Reynoldsville Business

REYNOLDSVILLE – A DuBois man is facing theft charges after allegedly stealing catalytic converters and diesel fuel from a Reynoldsville Business.

Police began an investigation after receiving a report on November 18th 2025 that an employee, 40 year-old Eric Shaffer, allegedly stole at least five catalytic converters.

On February 13th police responded to the business again for reports that Shaffer was allegedly stealing another catalytic converter. A part owner of the business told police they wanted to pursue charges for the theft of multiple catalytic converters and diesel fuel.

He was taken to the Jefferson County Jail where he faces multiple felony theft charges.
