DEP Investigating Oil Spills in Susquehanna River

CLEARFIELD – The Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection is investigating oil spills along the West Branch of the Susquehanna River in Clearfield.

Officials say they were notified on March 9th after receiving reports of strong odors and a thin layer of oil on the water.

Despite multiple tests, no source has been identified, as the investigation continues.
