DUBOIS – As Pennsylvania’s newest city, DuBois is looking ahead for future economic growth.
DuBois Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Jodi August, told us that this area is unique, located at the intersection of three major thoroughfares and a population growth through consolidation gives her hope for the area.
She also said that collaboration between groups like the Chamber, North Central PA, Clearly Ahead, JCDC, and the Redevelopment Authority can lead to a stronger business infrastructure in DuBois.
“Optimistically, I think that 2026 is going to be a year where we see some really positive movement, because now that we’re a new consolidated city, we are all working together a little more closely, and it’ll be easier,” explained August.
August says those partnerships will continue to strengthen DuBois, helping turn collaboration into economic growth in the coming years.
