DUBOIS – Innovation and teamwork are pushing DuBois area students to new heights through the BEST Robotics program, which continues to earn top honors and hands on experiences in engineering and leadership.
The program challenges students to design, build, and engineer robots while also developing marketing plans and team exhibits, encouraging students to pursue future careers in engineering.
“They are so successful year after year after year,” explained School Board President Robert Wachob. “It really is an amazing program that every board member without a doubt is incredibly proud of.”
Competing during a roughly eight week season beginning in September, the team recently earned first place at a regional competition then taking second overall in Wichita.
