DUBOIS – A resolution was recently approved giving the City of DuBois authority to apply for a Local Share Account Statewide Program grant for the DuBois Area YMCA.
If the grant money is approved, it will go towards facility improvements. The local Y’s Facility Renewal and Accessibility Improvement Project is estimated to cost more than $210,000.
City and Township Joint Board officials determined the project would provide a benefit to the community by renewing and improving portions of the YMCA facility, and by increasing accessibility.
