DUBOIS – A long planned timber sale in DuBois has officially moved forward drawing strong interest and unexpectedly high bids.
This latest timber sale, 10 years in the making, will include roughly 627,000 board feet of timber located between Interstate 80 and Christian Ridge Road. In an ideal harvesting area due to its flat terrain and easy access.
This most recent sale had five companies bidding with Bradford Forest Products awarded with the timber sale for $410,225 dollars, far exceeding expert’s expectations.
