DUBOIS – After months of reviews, revisions, and heated discussions, the 2026 final budget draft for the new City of DuBois is now available for your evaluation.

The draft outlines a $12.7 million dollar general fund, with millage increases in DuBois and Sandy Township, three and just over five respectively, totaling 14.75 mills in total.

You are encouraged to review the full draft and give your input to your local lawmakers.

“They can find the budget on the city’s website,“ explained Interim Manager Lisa Hagberg. “But they can also contact me at managerduboispa.gov and I will email it to them, and I’m also happy to sit down and talk to them about it.”

Lawmakers will vote on this budget in their December 17th meeting, with the new city council cementing their version in early January.
