Experts across Clearfield and Jefferson Counties say that you should have an emergency plan and know how to act before help arrives.
“A mindset everybody should have, no matter what the emergency is, is self preservation,” explained Emergency Management Coordinator for Clearfield County Scott Mignot. “What am I going to do to take care of myself, what have I prepared myself to encounter.”
Clear communication is key, keeping everyone informed can save lives. From natural disasters to sudden crises, anything can happen anywhere and you should always be prepared if there’s an emergency.
