UNDATED – The courts have ruled that some information will remain sealed in the Federal case against former City Manager John “Herm” Suplizio and former city employee Roberta “Bobbie” Shaffer.
In response to the defense’s petition for a detailed list of the alleged criminal transactions, the government submitted a 26 page document in opposition to the Bill of Particulars, claiming the defense has no right to the specifics of their investigation, and has had ample time to review the accounts associated with the charges.
The courts have ruled in favor of the government meaning that some information, including bank statements, will remain sealed.
A ruling has yet to be made on the Bill of Particulars.
