Over 800 Crashes Reported During Fourth of July

UNDATED – State Police have announced that they received over 800 reports of crashes over the Fourth of July weekend, nine of which were fatal.

Between July 3rd and 6th 803 crashes were reported. Of those 58 were DUI related. In total nine crashes were fatal, killing 12 people, police noted these were not DUI related.

In addition troopers made 458 DUI arrests, 150 drug related offences, and 5,790 speeding tickets.

These statistics are only for State Police reports, and do not include other police department findings.
