UNDATED – A heat advisory is over in our area.
However, the temperatures are still going to be high.
So, here are a few ways you can protect yourself.
Firstly, drink plenty of water and stay hydrated. You should also stay out of the sun whenever possible. You should also wear lighter clothing to prevent overheating.
Heat Exhaustion and Heat Stroke can be common with weather like this, so if you start experiencing dizziness, heavy sweating, nausea, confusion, or weakness move fast to a cool area and drink cool water/ice. If symptoms worsen seek medical help.
