Suspect Wanted in Clearfield Theft

CLEARFIELD – Police are asking for your help in finding the prime suspect in a theft.

According to Clearfield Regional Police, on Friday the 16th at around 2pm officers were called to a Spruce Street residence for reports of a strange man inside the victim’s car.

Police learned that the suspect, later identified as 50 year-old Donald Meyer, had allegedly stolen the keys and took a Kwik Fill credit card from inside the vehicle, making around $500 dollars in purchases before it was deactivated.

He is now wanted by police for burglary and trespass charges. He is also wanted on a failure to appear warrant. Anyone that knows his whereabouts are urged to contact Clearfield Regional Police, Sandy Township Police, or the Clearfield County Sheriff’s Office.
