BROOKVILLE – A number of projects are happening in Brookville to help liven up the borough.
According to Council Vice President Karen Allgeier the borough is working on a number of beautification projects, including murals painted by local talent, art installations, and flower planters placed on the borough’s bridges, in what she says will help attract people to Brookville.
“We’re trying to recreate what was there in the early 1900s, and bring that charm back to Brookville,” explained Allgeier.
Currently the planters are installed on bridges, however the borough is still waiting to fill them with an assortment of colorful flowers.
