Making a Difference in Brookville

BROOKVILLE – Businesses, community organizations, and influential individuals were honored by the Brookville Chamber of Commerce for their efforts to make the Brookville community a better place.

This year Gerry Raymond Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram won Large business of the Year for their substantial growth and commitment to the community. Fox’s Pizza won Small Business of the Year, and the Redbank Valley Trails Association won the Presidents cup

The Dr. Walter Dick Memorial Award, which honors a single person who has gone out of their way to improve Brookville, was won by Jennifer Black who owns the Brookville Mirror newspaper.

“Just to be out and trying to help businesses, the best that I can to help them be successful is one of my main goals,“ explained Black. “I try to strive for Brookville.”

In the end, these awards recognize the heart behind the hustle of creating a good community in Brookville.
