DuBois – Almost $9,000 dollars was raised by the DuBois Martin’s to support local students.
From January 1st until March 31st, Martin’s held their annual Round Up at the Register campaign. The $8,944.21 dollars raised will feed directly into the school’s Feeding School Kids initiative, giving snacks to elementary aged students who would not have the opportunity.
According to Store Manager Joe Kelly, elementary students hung up their artwork throughout the store encouraging you to donate.
“It was a very exciting thing for the elementary students to be able to show off their artwork in our store,“ explained Kelly. “You’d see parents, and grandparents, and children, looking for their pictures throughout the store.”
In the end, those at Martin’s want to continue this tradition of giving back to local students.
