DUBOIS – If you are looking to travel around Maple Avenue and Shaffer Road in DuBois, look out, as road work is returning to the area.
Originally started in the summer of 2024, crews have been working on sidewalk and trail improvements between Seventh Street and Shaffer Road, continuing to the intersection of the Beaver Meadow Walkway.
Curb installation, signage placing, pavement markings, and drainage improvements are all expected to be completed with this project.
Crews will begin to work on the area once again starting Monday March 31st with completion expected in May.
