PENFIELD – Maple Season in our area is kicking off, and you can participate at Parker Dam State Park.
On Saturdays and Sundays at 2pm you can visit the Sugar Shack, near Pavilion 7, to learn how maple syrup is made.
You will learn the vast history of maple sugaring and how it transformed into the process that we use today.
