PUNXSUTAWNEY – A February fire that led to the destruction of one family home has been ruled accidental.
Just after 11am on Thursday February 13th, crews were dispatched to a fully engulfed house fire on Greenwood Avenue.
While the home was a total loss all residents and pets were able to escape safely.
Police now say the blaze was caused by a broken gas line while a maintenance man was working on a hot water tank.
Now, all residents, a cat, and two turtles have lost everything and are asking for your help. A GoFundMe has been started to help them rebuild everything they lost.
