LAWRENCE TOWNSHIP – A man is behind bars after allegedly resisting police for violating a protection order.

On Saturday February 8th police were dispatched to the South 2nd Street McDonalds for reports of the violation.

Once on scene, officers determined that 27 year-old Kyle Turiano was breaking a valid protection order. When officers attempted to place him into custody, he allegedly became combative.

After being transported to Penn Highlands Clearfield for medical clearance, Turiano resisted officers’ attempts to escort him to jail.

He is now at the Clearfield County Jail where he is facing disorderly conduct and resisting arrest charges on top of the violation.
