PHILLIPSBURG – Area award winning author Mark Seinfelt has released his latest novel “A Meal for a Minotaur”, delving into Greek mythology and self reflection.
The book follows the demigod Theseus, who’s story has been told in many different variations, in a quest for redemption in the afterlife. The story explores themes of identity and self-discovery veiled in mythology.
“His mission is to slay the beast inside himself, the minotaur inside of himself, in order to gain heaven” explained Seinfelt. “I won’t tell whether he succeeded or not, life in the sense is very confusing and is a sort of labyrinth and there are a lot of answers to the big questions we encounter in philosophy and religion.“
Seinfelt, an Indiana Pa native that currently lives in Philipsburg teaching English Language Arts at the Clearfield County Career and Technology Center. This is his fifth published book.
In the end, he hopes that his works inspire youth to pick up a book.
Seinfelt says that the best place that you can find his book is currently on Amazon.
