DUBOIS – The Penn State DuBois Study into Pennsylvania Skill Games is underway with lawmakers from across the state awaiting the results.
We’ve heard from Shirley Dahrouge with Downtown DuBois and the latest on this crucial study.
“We have also gained the attention of the Pennsylvania House of Gaming Oversight Committee,“ explained Dahrouge. “I have been in contact with the Executive Director there. They are very interested in our research project and the data that is collected.”
Dahrouge also told us that students are currently creating surveys to gauge public opinions, business’ thoughts, and the mindset of those sitting at the machines.
In the end, she believes this study may put Penn State DuBois back on the map, and keep our local institution alive.
