Break-in Suspect Claims Divine Intervention

REYNOLDSVILLE – A suspected burglar is claiming that God sent him to break into a Reynoldsville home.

According to State Police on January 29th police received a call of an attempted break-in at a Route 1830 residence.

Once on scene police noticed that six windows had been broken into with visible shoe marks in the snow.

About a half mile away police discovered a vehicle stuck in a driveway. The driver, 52 year-old Clint Curtis of Des Moines Iowa, had identical shoes to the break-in suspect.

When questioned Curtis allegedly told police that they were sent by God to save them.

He is now facing multiple charges including Felony Burglary and Criminal Trespass.
