UNDATED – A scam involving lost pets has been making its rounds in our area.
The scam will have you receiving a call about your lost pet, the scammer will claim that they found your pet but it was injured.
They will then ask for an online payment so they can send the animal to emergency surgery.
Authorities would like to remind you to stay vigilant about these types of scams and to never send money to someone you don’t know.
