DUBOIS – An area group has been expanding their services to get you the best options available when dealing with mental health.
CORE Psychiatric & Psychological services has been expanding their reach in our area. While they did just open a new building in the City of DuBois, they are also expanding their team.
We heard from their newest Psychiatrist Dr. Rojelle Williams, who is ready to reestablish the field with a more empathetic approach.
“They (patients) do not want to go through a checklist of symptoms,“ explained Dr. Williams. “They don’t like to feel rushed, unheard, and diagnostic criteria in a book and that’s it. There’s so much more to a person, it’s your story, it’s who you are, it’s what made you today.”
Core focuses on providing diagnosis and treatment for behavioral and mental issues, based on an individualized approach with locations in DuBois, Brookville, Clearfield, Punxsutawney, and Emporium.
