DUBOIS – Next week kicks off the 31st annual Make-A-Wish campaign on Sunny106.
Starting on Monday December 2nd through Friday the 6th, you will have the opportunity to hear from and help Make-A-Wish recipients ages 2 and a half through 18, who are facing chronic illness.
We heard from Lacy Bair, regional manager for Make-A-Wish Greater Pennsylvania and West Virginia, who is shocked at the support that comes out of our area.
“Always a great week, so many great community members over here,“ explained Bair. “Our schools, our clubs and organizations, the individuals, the businesses, such a magical week.”
The local Make-A-Wish chapter has granted over 21,000 wishes to children, and more than $2,000,000 dollars has been donated to Make-A-Wish from the Tri-County area alone.
