DUBOIS – A food pantry dedicated to feeding local veterans and their families almost doubled their attendance this Wednesday.

Second Harvest Food Bank dedicates themselves to feeding local veterans and their families who are in need of food.

We heard from Feeding Coordinator, Alexa Hannole, who told us that the number of participants jumped from 42 to 79.

“It feels really good to be out here,“ explained Hannole. “Everybody was really appreciative today. I’m glad we were able to give them some food, especially after Veterans Day and Thanksgiving and Christmas coming up.”

Second Harvest is set to come back January 8th. If you had previously attended, they will call to remind you of the giveaway.
