CLASS 3A SUBREGIONAL – Districts 9 and 5
Somerset 40, Brockway 34 – The Rovers turned the ball over four times in the second half … Caleb Daugherty had 13 receptions for 223 yards and four toouchdowns … Aiden Patton completed 29 passes for 450 yards and five touchdowns, but he also tossed four interceptions, and was sacked five times … also, Brockway’s Blake Pisarcik pulled in four passes for 129 yards and one touchdown.
CLASS 5A SUBREGIONAL – Districts 6, 8, 9 AND 10
Hollidaysburg 28, DuBois 23 – DuBois fell behind 14 points in the first quarter, and the Beavers were never able to claw back for a lead … DuBois’ eight wins this season are the most for the football team in 10 years, and the Beavers won a playoff game for the first time since 1996
CLASS 4A SUBREGIONAL – Districts 8 and 9
Clearfield 34, USO-Obama Academy 24 – Brady Collins finished with 123 rushing yards … Xavier Curry threw two touchdown passes … While improving to an 11-0 season record, Clearfield held USO to negative three yards rushing. The Bison will face District 10 champ General McLane in the PIAA playoffs this weekend.

The Pittsburgh Penguins finished their three-game road trip Friday with a 4-2 win over Washington. Next for the Pens is a home game tonight.
The Penguins face off with the Dallas Stars. You can tune in for the pregame show at 6:30 tonight on Connect FM and Sunny 106. The opening puck drop is slated for 7pm.
Pittsburgh Steelers:
The Pittsburgh Steelers are now 7-and-2 after nipping the Washington Commanders Sunday by a score of 28-27. Next Sunday, the Steelers host the Baltimore Ravens.
