UNDATED – Leaves are starting to change in our area however, you will have to wait a little longer to see the full Fall colors.
According to the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, colors in a majority of the state are only just beginning to change to a variety of yellows, oranges, and reds.
This year’s Fall foliage season began abruptly and rapidly with the dry weather trends we saw through September.
Not much has changed in the past week due to the recent rainy and wet weather the commonwealth has experienced.
Currently in Clearfield County, leaves are approaching their best colors, in Jefferson and Elk counties, leaves are only just beginning to change.
