HARRISBURG – There could soon be a new funding source in support of youth hunting and fishing education.
On Wednesday, local State Senators Wayne Langerholc and Cris Dush helped to approve a bill which would create a new Pennsylvania Sportsman license plate. The plate will celebrate those who hunt and fish in the commonwealth, and a portion of its registration cost would be deposited in a restricted account for the purpose of promoting youth hunting and fishing activities.
