CLEARFIELD – From now until January 15th, you have the chance to choose your favorite snow plow decorated by Clearfield and Elk County high school students.
It’s PennDOT’s “Paint the Plow” program. Students from DuBois Central Catholic, Elk County Catholic and Clearfield Area high schools have participated this year, and you can cast your vote for your favorite through an online survey posted on the PennDOT website, penndot.pa.gov/painttheplow.
The “Paint the Plow” program is aimed at promoting winter driving safety, and fostering appreciation for high school art programs and student creativity.
The plow blades have been painted and decorated based on the statewide theme, “Seat belts are always in season.”
