Multiple burglaries in Jefferson County recently

Jefferson County, PA – Multiple attempted burglaries happened recently in Jefferson County, with one of them resulting in a safe and other valuables being stolen.

Sometime between Oct. 14 and 21, someone stole a storage safe from a location on Egypt Road in Warsaw Township. It was owned by a 71-year-old Brockway man. Cash and multiple valuables were stolen.

An attempted burglary happened on Maple Drive in Winslow Township on Oct. 24. The victims are listed as a 77-year-old man and 73-year-old woman, both from Reynoldsville. No items were taken in this incident, and no damage was done.

Two door knobs were tampered with at the Grant Street Apartments in Reynoldsville on Oct. 26. The knobs were loose but still functioning. In that case, no one actually entered the apartments and nothing was stolen. $30 worth of damage was done to the doorknobs.
