Clearfield, PA – A PennDOT plow truck caught fire early Tuesday morning.
It happened near the 115 mile marker of Interstate 80 east around 5:15 a.m.
The driver had pulled over after having mechanical issues with the truck, and they were able to escape safely.
Lawrence Township Volunteer Fire Company says the plow truck as fully engulfed in flames by the time they arrived.
Crews extinguished the fire and cleared the scene about an hour and a half later, around 6:40.
