Washington Township, PA – A man suffered a fatal heart attack while driving in Jefferson County, causing his pickup truck to go off the road.

The 64-year-old man remains unnamed at this time until his next of kin can be notified.

State Police say he suffered a medical episode on Saturday, Oct. 23, drifted off the roadway, and his pickup truck came to rest at the side of Kyle Run Road in Washington Township.

The cause of death was determined to be from a cardiac arrest medical incident, not as a result of the crash.
