Redbank Township, PA – The two people who were killed in a crash in Clarion County last week have been publicly identified.

36-year-old Douglas Craig from New Bethlehem and 34-year-old Sarah Stewart from Strattanville had been riding a motorcycle on Route 28 in Redbank Township just after 9 p.m. on Friday.

The motorcycle had stopped to make a lefthand turn onto Shannondale Road. Another vehicle travelling in the same direction behind the motorcycle had been attempting to pass another vehicle and struck the motorcycle.

The Clarion County Coroner says the pair died of blunt force trauma in the accidental crash.

Craig and Stewart were pronounced dead at the scene.

The roadway was closed down for about six hours in the aftermath of the crash.

Their funerals are set to be held later this week.
