DuBois, PA – The First Class Children’s Foundation car show season kicks off on Memorial Day weekend with one of their most popular event from last year, DuBois Shine.

This car show will take place on May 30, 2021 at the DuBois High School.

Registration is from 10 a.m. to noon. The car show runs from noon until 3:30.

There will be 10 classes. Each class will have 2 “Shine Awards” up for grabs.

A “Shine Award” signifies timeless automotive excellence and attention to detail.

This event will feature First Class merchandise, basket raffle, food truck, 50/50, and lottery tree.

Proceeds benefit the First Class Children’s Fountain, raising money for school supplies, books, and Imagination Boxes for local kids.

The goal this year is to provide every student at Juniata Elementary with their own Imagination Box, a personalized box with books, school and art supplies, games, and snacks. FCCF is also working on raising money to provide a book vending machine for CG Johnson Elementary, in which kids could use “caught being good tokens” to “purchase” new children’s books as a prize.

Listen to the full interview with founder Matt Reed about the DuBois Shine event, the meaning behind the Shine awards, and how all the money benefits local kids.
