Brookville, PA – Two men from Ohio were injured after their tractor-trailer missed a curve and left the roadway on Interstate 80 near Brookville.

The 34-year-old driver from Toledo, Ohio, had been driving on I-80 around 5:11 a.m. on March 25 when he failed to negotiate a curve near exit 78.

The tractor-trailer left the road, struck a median, and came to rest in a ditch. The driver was taken by ambulance to Penn Highlands.

The passenger, a 42-year-old man from Toledo, was taken to UPMC Presbyterian. Both had injuries of unknown severity.

The driver had been wearing his seat belt, but the passenger had not been wearing one.
