Henderson Township, PA – A DuBois woman was injured after losing control on Route 119 in Jefferson County and striking a utility pole.

It happened on Feb. 11 on the section of Route 119 that runs through Henderson Township, near Stump Creek, just before 9 a.m.

50-year-old Michele Hatten lost control of her Chevy Impala, began to slide, and struck a utility pole on the side of the road.

Hatten had to be extricated from her vehicle and taken to the Penn Highlands DuBois emergency room with injuries of unknown severity.

Police say she had not been wearing her seat belt and is being charged for driving at an unsafe speed.
