Decatur Township, PA – A DuBois man will face charges for arson after police found he caused a garage fire in July.
The fire happened in Decatur Township on July 28 at a garage. The fire marshal said that although the fire started inside the garage, it did not have any electricity running to it for it to have happened accidentally that way.
Then later, they spoke to a man who says he drove 23-year-old Michael Bickel from DuBois to that location in July.
Bickel reportedly went to his foster family’s house to steal an ATV and then lit their garage on fire.
He faces charges of arson, criminal mischief, recklessly endangering another person, and retaliation.
Bickel remains in the Clearfield County Jail on $50,000 bail, awaiting his preliminary hearing on Sept. 30.
