Clearfield, PA – The streets around the Clearfield County Courthouse were blocked off Monday morning as police investigated a suspicious box that was left unattended there.

The bomb squad found that it was not a bomb, just a false alarm.

It appeared to be paperwork inside of the box.

There’s no official word on who left the box or why it was left unattended in a public place.
