Brockway, PA – Santa Claus is coming to Mengle Memorial Library, but he’ll need a little help from parents.

According to Head Librarian Darlene Marshall, Santa will be at the library on Tuesday, Dec. 10 at 6 p.m., but in order for visiting children to receive a present, parents will have to drop that off in advance.

Marshall said that Santa’s sleigh is already packed for his Christmas deliveries, so parents who know their child is coming on the 10th should bring a present ahead of time.

Marshall also said that the library has a special arrangement with Usborne Books to sell books for Christmas. The books will be cash-and-carry for a limited time starting with Santa’s visit. Marshall said that parents have been asking about Usborne books because children find them fun and engaging.

The library can be reached at 265-8245.

Thanks to report Andrew Bundy for this story.
