Punxsutawney, PA – The cause of a church fire in Punxsutawney is still under investigation.

The Albion United Methodist Church in Punxsutawney caught fire on Monday at 7:20 p.m.

Multiple fire companies responded to the church on Clawson Street, which was fully engulfed by flames by the time they arrived.

The Pennsylvania State Police Fire Marshal, the ATF (Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives), Punxsutawney police Department, and Punxsutawney Fire Department are looking into the fire.

Damage is estimated at $200,000. The church does have insurance.

Although officials investigated, the cause of the fire is still unknown.

There were no injuries.

We won’t know anything till we hear from the fire Marshall and the insurance company, but we do know God loves us and is in control of all of this and we r trusting Him right now. Pray for our church family as this is going to be a process of grieving.
