DuBois, PA – Thank you everyone who attended the 2019 DuBois VFW Post 813 Veterans Day Honor Ceremony!

Representative and Army Reserve Major Matt Gabler spoke about his recent year serving overseas and how it brought him a deeper understanding of what it means to be a soldier.

John Hibner and Dave “YaYa” Gralla” presented a Purple Heart to a man’s family who had lost his.

They also presented a certificate of thanks to Melissa Strong and her son Levi, who are often seen around town giving small tokens of appreciation to local veterans.
