Gaskill Township, PA – Three people, including a child, were injured in a crash Tuesday afternoon in Jefferson County.
42-year-old Michelle McDonald from Reynoldsville had pulled out from a stop sign from State Route 2001 onto Route 36 in Gaskill Township just after 5 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 13.
34-year-old Mary Fisher from Punxsutawney was driving on Route 36 at the time and struck the car, causing McDonald’s vehicle to hit a road sign and a utility pole.
McDonald, the woman who had been pulling out from the stop sign, had minor injuries.
Fisher, the woman on Route 36, and a 10-year-old boy in her car also had minor injuries. An 11-year-old boy in Fisher’s car was not injured.
Everyone except for Fisher had been wearing a seat belt.
McDonald was cited for a stop sign violation.
