Huston Township, PA – A crash caused by distracted driving left one person with minor injuries.

21-year-old Hayley Cooney of Weedville had been driving along State Park Road in Huston Township just before 10 a.m. July 24.

She rear-ended the back of a Ford Transit 250 van, driven by 50-year-old John Visnofsky from Madera. That pushed the man’s van into a third vehicle, a Ford F-150 driven by 60-year-old Mary Baker of Williamsport.

Neither of the other drivers were injured.

Cooney had minor injuries, and her Subaru Legacy had to be towed from the scene.

Police say the crash happened because Cooney was distracted, and she has been charged with careless driving.
