It’s not that RFID skimming can’t be done. It’s possible, there are much easier ways for thieves to get your information.
The entrepreneur, public speaker, and creator of Your Daily Success Tip says you’re more likely to get hacked this way. “You’re in so much more danger if you use the public wifi or the free charging stations.”
She says if you’re still worried, the cheaper option that is just as effective is simply wrapping your credit cards in heavy-duty aluminum foil.
